Monthly working party

If you enjoy practical hands-on work in the open air, then why not join our monthly working party. A group of volunteers meets in the car park on the first Wednesday of every month at 2 pm. Directed by rangers, Claire and Nick Beale, this group undertakes a range of activities across Magog Down throughout the year. Anyone interested is welcome. Please bring good boots/shoes and gloves. If you have saws, secateurs and loppers, they are also worth bringing along. Feel free to turn up any month when you are available. Alternatively, if you would prefer to have tasks and times confirmed in advance, you can join the email list. Typical tasks may include: planting new hedgerows; pruning and trimming existing hedges; controlling thistles, ragwort and other invasive weeds; removing unwanted scrub; litter picking etc.
