The Magog Down attracted over 130 new Friends since the Friendship campaign was launched in April 2010. We need each visitor to Magog Down to help us in to look after this special piece of countryside and become part of the Magog Down. Join us now!
Donations
A donation to Magog Trust charity can help us in the restoration of Magog Down and in its maintenance for our enjoyment today and for future generations.
Please send cheques to the Registered Office address and indicate whether you would like to gift aid your donation.
Support woodlands
It costs approximately £30 to maintain 100 trees in any one year.
Currently the Trust has 20,000 trees and shrubs to maintain so each year we need £6,000.00 for this task.
Donations can be made to support the upkeep and maintenance of woods on Magog Down. These funds do, of course, cover costs incurred in thinning, weeding and felling, as the initial major planting schemes have now been completed.
If you would like to support us in this way, please contact us by email, or by writing to the registered address. Your donation will be entered in the Book of Trees and if you wish, we will record whether it marks a special occasion or is made in memory of someone dear.
Please let us know if you wish the donation to be Gift Aided.

There is a Car Park, a Ranger service, paths upkept as well as wide provision for dog walkers including nearly 2.5km off-lead dog walk and play area as well as dog bin facilities, regularly emptied. Additionally there are seats, picnic areas, disabled access paths and cycle racks.
All this is privately owned, maintained and managed by the Magog Trust, a charitable company. It costs around £66,000 a year to run.
